Computer-facilitated hand-drawn cards / notepaper; also selected digital photos... All designs copyright to the artist or her assignees.
Printed on white card-stock and with space inside to write a message, each card / note comes with a 4 3/8-inch by 5 5/8-inch envelope. Alternate sizes are possible -- but do not come with envelopes.
From an early age, I kept a sketch book for pencil and pen & ink drawings. I got into a digital medium in a round-about way: touching up 1950s-vintage color photo attachments I received as jpegs from a computer-savvy cousin. Before long, I was opening blank jpegs and finding out what I could do with simple black lines on a white rectangle. The bucket tool allows me to pour into the resulting sections my choice of colors to give them a stained-glass-window effect. Copying the original rectangle to juxtapose it as a mirror image is fun and produces surprising and delightful designs, some of which reveal portions resembling birds or animals. Other designs have a colored background with white lines and shapes, or are fashioned using the brush, line and pencil tools. Playing with the image and filter options brings satisfaction, too.
